Charles Band has announced Full Moon is working on Subspecies 5. The fifth film will be a prequel to the popular vampire series. Band told Horror Yearbook member and Dead Baby director, Andrew, the script is written, and that it takes place 1000 years in the past revealing the origins of Radu. There has been no official announcement about the prequel on FullMoonHorror.com, but fans of the franchise can follow Ted Nicolaou’s original Subspecies journal which is being republished on the site.

The fifth part would really really SUCK if Anders Hove and Denice Duff would be replaced by someone else…
I don’t know. Like any great journalist I only have Andrew’s Facebook page as a source. According to IMDB Hove is still working, and his age shouldn’t matter since he will be wearing a lot of makeup. I doubt Denice Duff will be in it.
Without Hove, I dont think the next chapter will be worth it . He IS Radu.
As far as Duff goes, it would be nice if she’s in it, but like you sasid. I doubt it too.
