Well the grapevine says that Twisted Pictures has no interest in doing the already planned Saw 5 & 6 without star Tobin Bell. So how do you make sequels with a character who died in part 3? Seems like Twisted is not spilling the beans, but hey it is a horror film, so this won’t be the first time it has happened.
I suggest these options which I have suggested before:
1. If Jigsaw can make all these crazy and elaborate traps, then why couldn’t he have made himself a cyborg body? They could transfer his head and brain into the body and he could wreck havoc in his new indestructible form.
2. He had a lot of time on his hands, maybe Jigsaw watched Child’s Play and learned how to transfer his soul into one of his creepy puppets. This could also set up a possible Jigsaw vs Chucky part 7.
3. Make him a zombie, it worked for Friday the 13th.
4. Let Rob Zombie re-imagine the film and make a prequel.
5. Better yet, just make a prequel called Baby Jigsaw, where we can learn about his childhood. Since in this day and age everyone needs an explanation of why something happens in the horror genre, this would be the perfect idea. We can see how Jigsaw learned how to make his traps by playing with Legos, and when the seeds were planted that turned an innocent man into a ruthless killer.
Also everyone knows when you are out of ideas for something you just make them babies, it worked for The Muppets.
