This my favorite album of the year by far. Necro delivers another masterpiece. I thought it would be tough for Necro to top his previous release “The Pre-Fix For Death,” but “Death Rap” is unquestionably Necro’s best album to date.

His music and lyrics have never been more focused and lethal sounding. Necro kills all 14 tracks on this album. Non stop verbal violence. This album is also Necro’s best work as a musician and producer. He creates killer hip hop tracks and grinds out brutal metal riffs with ease. Truly a technician of execution.
I consider “Death Rap” to be Necro’s “Reign In Blood.” It’s a defining statement of lethal intent and a brutal blast of adrenaline that gets better which each listen. There are no filler tracks. All 14 songs are devastating and worth a mention:
“Creepy Crawl” - straight up evil with two sick verses that perfectly break down the infamous Tate murders.
“Face down on the bed, pillow case over ya head, lamp cord choked, leave everyone in the place dead. Knife to ya chest, ya colon flexes slashing the word WAR in your solar plexus.”
“No Remorse” - ominous sounding death rap with especially brutal lyrics.
“Lapidation, foulness like like Ralphus, rapid heart palpitations, scalp you like Al Fish.”
“Some Get Back (Revenge)” - combines slow and creepy piano flavor with vigilante verbal violence.
“Merciless like Paul Kersey, thirsty for retribution, .38 bursting.”
“Belligerent Gangsters - a rather freaky sounding upbeat hip hop with pummeling verses from Necro and a chorus from the legendary Harley Flanagan from The Cro-Mags!
“Dice appendages into percentages, people shook ever since we entered the biz.”
“Suffocated To Death By God’s Shadow” - this track is the definition of “death rap” and is arguably the highlight of the album. Necro breaks new ground by being the first rapper to have the skills to keep up with a Mike “Suffocation” Smith blast beat! This incredible track combines furious death metal, catchy hardcore riffs, and has a beautiful sounding guitar solo breakdown. Guest musicians also include Brian Fair from Shadows Fall, Mark Morton from Lamb Of God, and Steve DiGiorgio from Sadus/Death.
“Chop you into shreds, behead you, then bury you, forget you, let you rot, it’s necessary take a shit up on your plot.”
“Mutilate The Beat” - the first single and video. BRUTAL!
“You worship idols, rip ya vitals, grippin’ tools, attack like fighting bulls. My motivating factor’s to kill like operating tractor trailers, drunk as a sailor, motor skills nil.”
“Keep On Driving” - this track should be much appreciated by horror fans. The beat alternates between being upbeat and creepy sounding and the lyrics are heavily inspired by flicks like “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and “The Hills Have Eyes.”
“Warriors” – the serial killer version, put a blade to ya dome when I invade ya trailer home like a military incursion and make you drink your urine.”
“Technician Of Execution” - the first four words of the first verse sum this track up perfectly: futuristic, brutal, super sadistic.
“Programmed like a moog, compose a fugue in vulgar vogue, a rogue like Krug with a Ruger, kill you on YouTube.”
“Keeping It Real” - a very nice display of Necro’s guitar skills. He spits fast and furious over slow and thoughtful sounding verses and the catchy chorus is sung by Adam Jackson from Twelve Tribes.
“Quick annihilation, my style’s a human rights violation, a vile indignation. Grew up in a urban location, the projects, herb, you better watch your verbalization.”
“Exploitation” - grind house hip hop illness in the proud “Gory Days” tradition. Old school Necro fans will love this track that also features a killer verse from Mr. Hyde.
“A killer with tuberculosis, knocking on ya door, built like Hercules holding a circular saw. Leave you extremely appalled, make you scream and crawl, prolific, horrific like the Grand Guignol.”
“As Deadly As Can Be” - a little slice of hell from “The Beyond!” You’ll live in terror as you hear the demented verses of blood brothers Necro & Ill Bill.
“Disgusting gluttony, try the Susan Atkin’s weight reduction plan, liposuction with rusty cutlery.”
“Evil Rules” - another lethal dose of metal infused death rap promoting extreme violence and brutal murder. The all star line up of guest musicians on this track includes legends like Scott Ian from Anthrax/S.O.D., Dave Ellefson formerly from Megadeth, and Ray Alder from Fates Warning!
“the Death Angel kills the Blind Illusion of Exodus, a Heathen performing Forbidden Vio-Lence as my Testament. Doing the Toxic Waltz, boxing, getting in brawls, if beef pops we go Balls To The Wall.”
“Forensic Pathology” - a slow and methodical track full of surgical sickness.
“Extended to the midline of the pubic symphysis, symphonies of sickness, emphasis, on your corpse in the metamorphosis of rigor mortis.”
“Portrait Of A Death Rapper” - a great closing track that ends the album on a slightly upbeat, but still uncompromisingly morbid note.
“Let’s get it percolatin’ like the Church Of Satan, or Berkowitz waiting to shred you like Kirk on Damage Incorporated. Leave you bandaged like the character Pushead created, sedated like a dusthead, it’s Necro, I hustled and made it.”
