Horror-movies.ca reports that Tobe Hooper will be directing the film adaptation of Stephen King’s From a Buick 8, and not George Romero as previously reported.

King had been quoted as saying: “I’m very excited that George is interested in directing ‘From a Buick 8.”

I wonder what he thinks about Hooper doing it now?

From a Buick 8 is about a state trooper who dies on the side of the road. When his colleagues try and help his son recover, the son finds his fathers dark secret in the barracks’ back shed.
