Hollywood Gang [Bang] Productions optioned the rights to “The Last Christmas” graphic novel by Image Comics reports Variety.

“Written by Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan, the novel revolves around Santa Claus, who turns his back on Christmas and goes into seclusion after nuclear war has destroyed the world. When the North Pole gets attacked, Santa must battle zombies and renegades to save the remaining survivors, and ultimately, the holiday.”

This sounds like the most awesome movie ever. It reminds me of Bill Goldberg in SANTA’S SLAY (Read the review) only with zombies.

This plot summary raises obvious questions like: Will there be any zombie elves? Will Mrs. Claus make an appearance at the end with a grenade launcher to wipe out hordes of zombies? Is Rudolph’s red nose the result of a zombie infection? And did any zombies make the Santa’s Good List this year?
