Actor Sid Haig has had a few shots to sit in the director’s chair, but every time he was ready to plop his behind down, the chair was yanked away from him.
However, today Oracle Pictures has announced that he will finally get his chance to direct.
Sid will begin working on a film called Last Door, about a family who fight to save their son from a secret society, on October 5th. The film is based on actual events and is being called a “supernatural, psychological thriller.”
Sid seems very excited about finally getting his chance to direct, “It’s such a pleasure to be able to work with people who display the degree of professionalism such as those at Oracle and Blue Brick do. I’m so looking forward to the 5th, so that I can finally work as a director on a feature film; especially one that resonates so deeply with me. The fact that it is based on true events makes it even more intriguing.”
