ENTER THE FEAR ZONE

Here at Horror Yearbook we believe websites should share the wealth, especially if a bigger part of the wealth is coming our way. So we happily announce, a new member of the horror website family, FEAR ZONE, “a new website devoted to horror entertainment, that launched last week.” The site’s Editor in Chief is Gregory Lamberson, best known as the director of the cult horror film Slime City and multi-media project, Johnny Gruesome.

“As a member of both the horror film community and the horror publishing community, I want to place equal emphasis on both aspects of the genre,” Lamberson says, “while also paying attention to music, video games, art, the paranormal, and haunted attractions. I’ve also hired contributors who are professional writers working in various areas of the horror entertainment field. People whose work and voices I admire, and who wil bring different perspectives to the table.”

Regular columnists for Fear Zone (http://www.fearzone.com/) include writer and publisher John Maclay and authors Nick Mamatas (Under One Roof, Move Under Ground) and Mary Sangiovani (The Hollower), to name a few.

So we wish everyone over at FEAR ZONE good luck, because I know how much hard work running a website can be. My advice is don’t quit your day job, stock up on lots of booze, and SPAM the hell our of Bloody Disgusting’s message board.
