Damn I was dicking around on the internet, and thought I found out that they were going to start making direct to video Blade movies, but it turned out that New Line is just releasing the extended and unrated pilot of the television show, “Blade: The Series” on DVD.
Blade: House of Chthon will be available Sept, 18th. So if you missed the TV show, here is your chance to catch it on DVD. I, however, think direct to DVD Blade movies would be a great idea. If they’re still milking I Know What You Did Last Summer and Bring it On on DVD, why not Blade?
Director: Peter O’Fallon
Starring: Sticky Fingaz and Jill Wagner
MPAA Rating: Not rated
Running Time: 88 minutes
The brutal hunt for the pure bloods continues as the ultimate vampire hunter, Blade, battles to defeat the House of Chthon, an ancient evil sect of vampires that is growing stronger everyday. Led by the vampire overlord Marcus, their objective is to create a vaccine that will give rise to a new breed of super vampires, immune to vampire weaknesses. In order to stop them, Blade joins forces with the merciless Krista, whose brother was slain by the vampires and who will stop at nothing to infiltrate the House of Chthon. With her help, Blade will do everything he can to win this war and save humanity before it’s too late.
