The last time I heard from Tom Savini, it was because I contacted him to fact check (yeah we check facts sometimes) about some crap book, that the author claimed, he was going to direct or produce the movie for. He didn’t seem too happy to hear from me, and I still don’t no why.

Now news is spreading that Savini is supposed to be in the NEW Lost Boys sequel, where they have dropped the 2 from the name and are calling it; Lost Boys: The Tribe. The clincher is that because of the success of the reality show “The Two Coreys,” The Tribe is going to go theatrical.

Savini talked about his role on Fangria Radio: “I’m one of the first vampires you see in the movie. I’m a surfer who runs into the vampires at the beginning of the film, in a sequence that is shot very Sergio Leone-style. They’re shooting THE TRIBE in Vancouver right now, and I’ll be there September 11.”

I still have no idea if he is making the movie based on that crap book, but we will keep you posted.
