Now Lowry is talking (via VideoScope) about the upcoming remakes of her films and what roles she may play:
“As far as THE CRAZIES and SHIVERS go, I have been trying to get in touch with the producers to get a cameo in each.
I was actually pretty close on THE CRAZIES and then everything changed. Now I don’t even know who is in charge of it.
I did have a person who told me who is directing SHIVERS and that person talked to the director and he said he was interested in talking to me. But I have not yet heard from him.
I’m not sure what we’re going to do with I DRINK YOUR BLOOD. Obviously we want to remake it and update it. It will have the same essence of the original. We have no idea about a director. It is in the really early stages. David Durston is going to write it and we’re going to try and raise the money and get someone to direct it.”
