File this under “Useless Things Number 3417.” The SAW Trilogy box set is hitting shelves on Oct. 23rd just a week before the theatrical release of SAW IV. The box set will feature the 120 minute Director’s Cut of SAW III, commentary, and other special features.
I realize there are a ton of fans for the SAW franchise, but why buy the Trilogy if you know there is at least one more in the series? Next year, you will shell out about $50.00 more to just have the newest complete set. And then repeat that process again every following year until Lionsgate decides to stop making these.
