We just learned that Broken is being released in the U.S.. I say about time! I saw the U.S. premiere of BROKEN a few years ago. Although not the greatest horror film, it is something worth seeing and should get a fucking release here in the U.S.. The opening scene is a very disturbing scene, and the film has a couple other not to be missed moments. It’s one of those horror films that has dipped under the radar and deserves a little more attention then it is getting.
Horror-Movies.ca claims that the Weinstein Co. will be releasing the DVD through their new label Dimension Xtreme on Sept 25th and will include:

Horror-Movies.ca also brings up a good point about the plot and the film: “A woman is taken captive by a sadistic madman, and survives a series of gruesome tortures only to become his twisted slave. Yea this was released before “Torture Porn” was even in out in the public so I think this one should get a free ride folks.”
Actually a lot of classic horror movies that would be considered “Torture Porn” were released before someone coined that stupid term.
