Buffy fans rejoice! Joss Whedon announced that he is finally going to bring the Ripper to TV. If you forgot, Ripper was supposed to follow the adventures of Giles after he returned to England.

This will be even more interesting now, since it was originally planned before The Buffy Season 8 comic and other “Buffyverse ” events which have already taken place. American fans may have to wait though, because Whedon is producing this one for the BBC.

Whedon also plans to write Angel: After the Fall, a comic which will tell what happened to Angel and friends after the end of the shows last episode.

In final Joss news, he also announced a horror film he is co-writing with Drew Goodard called Cabin in the Woods, which Whedon describes as the horror movie to end all horror movies!
