The Toronto Film Festival is coming up soon and they have a pretty slick list of horror features for their Midnight Madness. Here is the line up:
FRONTIERES: A survival horror flick similar to DELIVERANCE, but with horny neo-Nazis. Directed by Xavier Gen, who will soon helm the “Hitman” film adaptation.
DIARY OF THE DEAD: George Romero’s fifth film in the zombie series.
STUCK: Stars Mena Suvari and Stephen Rhea. Suvari plays a woman that hits a man and leaves him stuck in her windshield.
THE DEVIL’S CHAIR: A psychology teacher takes students to an asylum where they find out that they are the ones being experimented on. Directed by Adam Mason (BROKEN).
INSIDE: About a pregnant woman grieving over her deceased boyfriend when she encounters a madwoman intent on removing her baby with scissors.
Supposedly, Dario Argento’s THE THIRD MOTHER is supposed to join this roster.
The Toronto Film Festival runs from September 6-15. For more info, Check out http://www.torontointernationalfilmfestival.ca/.
