So here is the new poster for the upcoming Dimension Films’ ROGUE. Hmm, what to say? Well, for starters at least Dimension took a different approach than Universal did with PRIMEVAL, which featured a fake serial killer type marketing approach that didn’t seem to work well for it at the box office. And I rather like this poster, which brings me warm memories of PIRANHA and JAWS.
And if you couldn’t guess by the poster alone, the film is about a killer croc that picks off the main characters one by one. It stars Radha Mitchell (SILENT HILL), Michael Vartan (Alias), and John Jarratt (the killer from WOLF CREEK). I should also mention that this was directed by Greg Mclean, the man behind WOLF CREEK, which means ROGUE will feature a long drawn out story mixed with lots of bloody violence. ROGUE is set to appear in October just in time for the Halloween horror craze.
