What happens when you mix Guillermo del Toro aesthetics, the creative genius of Clive Barker, and the acting talents of two A-list celebrities?

The answer is the upcoming film BORN, produced by del Toro and Barker with newcomer Daniel Simpson directing. The film will star real life husband and wife duo, Paul Bettany (A KNIGHT’S TALE) and Jennifer Connelly (DARK CITY).

The project involves a couple that settle in a quiet English town to raise their family. But all is not well when the husband realizes his claymation characters are acting out a nightmare that comes to life. The stop-motion sequences are provided by Chiodo Bros. Productions (TEAM AMERICA).

Production is set to start mid-August in England after del Toro finishes HELLBOY II for Universal.
