Lame horror websites like this one will review anything: scripts, magazines, books, movies, and your mother’s apple pie. As long as it makes us feel important and better than you, we will review it. So I decided to review Dread Central’s new podcast feature Splattrax, (why not) where each week, I guess, you can watch a bad movie at the same time as the DC gang and listen to them try to be Mystery Science Theater.
If you ever wanted to know what geeks and nerds do at home alone, besides taking turns blowing each other, here is your chance. Somehow these guys manage to make Uwe Boll’s House of the Dead even worse! I seriously only got through about five minutes of it before I decided it would be more fun to go out back and punch myself in the balls. The only saving grace to this nerd circle jerk was the long moments of silence between each dumb thing they said. But hey it was their first one so maybe they will get better at it with time.
Here at HYB, we have tried many dumb gimmicks, but never one this bad. Dread Central should stick to reporting on horror news and ass kissing, they’re much better at it.
