Distributor Blue Underground has been holding onto the rights to SUSPIRIA for a while now and decided to take full advantage of a new release before the impending remake sallys forth. Actually, they are taking advantage of a few of Dario Argento’s classics. Coming out on DVD, courtesy of Blue Underground, is SUSPIRIA, CAT O’NINE TAILS, OPERA, and STENDHAL SYNDROME. All DVDs will be available on Sept. 25th.

The SUSPIRIA 2 Disc DVD edition is Widescreen 2.35:1 / 16×9 enhanced and sports extras such as Theatrical Trailers, TV/ Radio Spots, Poster/ Still Gallery, Talent Bios, and the “Suspiria” Music Video by Daemonia. And we are not through yet.

The second disc includes Suspiria: 25th Anniversary – Interviews with Co-Writer/Director Dario Argento, Co-Writer Daria Nicolodi, Cinematographer Luciano Tovoli, Composers Goblin (Claudio Simonetti, Massimo Morante, Fabio Pignatelli & Agostino Marangolo), and Stars Jessica Harper, Stefania Casini & Udo Kier.

STENDHAL SYNDROME is getting a similar makeover with the 2 discs featuring the Theatrical Trailer and interviews with Director: Dario Argento, Inspiration: Psychological Consultant Graziella Magherini, Special Effects: Sergio Stivaletti, Assistant Director: Luigi Cozzi, Production Designer: Massimo Antonello Geleng.
