The First Annual B Movie Celebration will be held August 17th-19th in Franklin, Indiana. The Celebration will feature over 50 classic B movie screenings. Special guests include SFX guru Tom Savini (DAWN OF THE DEAD), director Jim Wynorski (CHOPPING MALL), and actor Conrad Brooks (PLAN 9 FROM OUTERSPACE). But the highlight of the Celebration is the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Tromaville Mayor, Lloyd Kaufman. A Troma retrospective will be presented by Kaufman at the historic ArtCraft Theater.

Other events include a B Movie Gala, “Breakfast and a Movie”, and a Drive In Movie In the Park. There will be over 20 educational seminars on the art of B film such as Directing B Movies, Acting for B’s, Director’s Roundtable Writing workshop, and Music Composition.
