Neil Marshall talked about the upcoming DOOMSDAY and said the plot was hard to describe. He mentioned a wall built to divide Scotland from the rest of the UK, where the Scots are left to fight off a virus. Well, the virus reemerges and beings spreading across the wall. He describes this as a “post apocalyptic epic in the vein of ROAD WARRIOR that had just finished wrapping in Africa last Saturday. Cast includes Malcolm McDowell, Rhona Mitra, and Bob Hoskins.

Also on the horizon is THE DESCENT II, which he is not directing, but will be overseeing. Marshall says, ‘it is in the preliminary stages, but I will not be overly involved- just enough to make sure they don’t fuck it up.”
