Clive Barker’s short story, MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN tells the story of an ambitious, yet struggling photographer Leon Kaufman (played by way hot Bradley Cooper, “Kitchen Confidential”. Yum!), whose latest project is the study of nightlife and the city’s inhabitants. When shown interest from an art gallery owner (Brooke Shields, FREAKED), he is pushed to find the darker side of his work. Kaufman ends up on the tail of serial killer Mahogany (Vinnie Jones, GARFIELD: A TAIL OF TWO KITTIES), the subway murderer who stalks commuters and butchers them in the bloodiest fashion possible. Kaufman’s girlfriend Maya (Leslie Bibb from TALLADEGA NIGHTS!) grows concerned with his dumb and reckless behavior. Soon, Kaufman is in the subways with Mahogany and Maya in the mix.
Directed by Ryuhei Kitamura (kickass VERSUS), the film also sports Tony Curran (BLADE II), creepy Roger Bart (the killer fiancée in “Desperate Housewives”), Barbara Eve Harris (CAGED SEDUCTION), and UFC fighter Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson.
