Can’t get enough of GRINDHOUSE? Well, if you were totally blown away by Quentin Tarantino’s performance as a soldier in PLANET TERROR, then you should be excited to hear that there is a 7in “Rapist” GRINDHOUSE action figure available through DarkFigures.com courtesy of DarkFigures & NECA Toys.

And this little doll, I mean, action figure, is already drumming up controversy amongst feminists, parents, and just plain average folk alike. Apparently, Toys “R” Us, is planning on stocking shelves with the little “Rapist”. This is a particularly bold move for a rather conservative children’s toy store. Actually, last time I checked, children were considered to be under the age of 18, while the R rated GRINDHOUSE flick requires audience members to be over the age of 18 (unless squired by an adult). I personally have no problem with the making of the doll and I rather liked Tarantino’s scene, but I have to laugh when I think of the responses a mother must give while in Toys “R” Us when her 6 year old son asks, “Mommy, What’s a rapist?” My bet is this will get pulled before even hitting shelves.
