Filmmaker and author Gregory Lamberson announced that Media Blasters has acquired the North American distribution rights to his latest horror film, Slime City Massacre (Read Brain Hammer’s Review).
That’s fancy talk for, “It’s finally fucking coming to DVD, VOD and Blu-ray in 2011.”
Massacre is the sequel/prequel to Lamberson’s 1988 cult film Slime City. The movie stars Debbie Rochon, Brooke Lewis, Lee Perkins, original Slime City stars Robert Sabin and Mary Bogle, and features appearances by Roy Frumkes (Street Trash) and Lloyd Kaufman.
In the wake of a “dirty bomb” attack, the now radioactive Slime City has been evacuated by the government. The only people who remain are a haggard assortment of homeless slimeheads and a pack of pimps, prostitutes, and drug dealers that cater to the rich tourists who still pour into Slime City from uptown.
Four squatters searching for food in the ruins of the Zachary Devon Soup Kitchen discover a supply of mysterious wine. When they drink the wine, they are transformed into hideous slime creatures driven to murder.

SWEEEEET!
