Death Walks the Streets Fake Fans Reply

SEND TO MOBILE PHONE

I’m not suggesting anything, I just like this 1993 made for TV movie starring Christopher Walken & Lorraine Bracco

Wow, for a movie no one has seen one second of, DWTS sure has one of the most dedicated fan followings ever. Today we recieved this E-mail from one of the fake or paid off fans of DWTS. I would like to note that in the entire history of Horror Yearbook we have never recieved one complaint from a “fan,” and we have done more then enough to warrant a few complaints in our time.

I figure this is just a ploy by the “people” behind DWTS to keep us talking about their film. The funny thing is, they claimed Horror Yearbook to be a “little-known website,” but deemed us important enough to respond to us on their website and MySpace Blog. The thing that sucks is because most of, or all of their fans are fake, it seems no one paid attention, because this “little-known website’s” traffiic stayed the same.

Now read this bullshit.

P.S. I went to reply to their statement about us on their MySpace Blog but they blocked us, heh.

The letter was addressed to Molly.

Hello. I just read your Death Walks the Streets article, and I have to say that I am pretty shocked at the allegations that you are presenting on a public forum about an independent movie.

Please do not take this as hate mail. I do not plan on acting like a crazy fangirl and proclaiming death and many other bad horrors upon you. From both your MySpace and your IMDB, I see that you are a well established professional, and being a professional myself, I hate to ever think of sinking to such juvenile levels.

I would like to point out however, that in the path of writing your article, you did not fully research your topic, and anyone who has been following this movie will be quick to point them out to you.

The one thing, however, that personally upset me was this line:

[Editor's Note: She complains about the part where we said there is no footage of the film.]

At this, you have offended me, as well as all the other people who enjoy this project. You are aware that the reason there are no trailers for this movie yet is because they have yet to finish
filming? The acclaim they are receiving is based off the premise. It is based off the idea that James Zahn has been promoting. They don’t release many details in the movie because they want people to actually be surprised at what they are creating.

[Editor's Note: She goes on about something else blah, blah, blah!]

I’m a proud owner of one of their shirts, which I received as a birthday present from one of my good friends.

[Editor's Note: He can't be that good of a friend if he bought you that for a present.]

I am also proud to carry the “Deathwalker” title they give their fans, and seeing my picture on their website, to me, shows that they appreciate their fans and want to show others the dedication that we have for them in theirown way. I was also recently a featured Deathwalker on the website, and am still the featured Deathwalker on their MySpace account.

I also plan on helping promote the movie in my area when they are far enough along to have such materials available. And in not way do I feel as if I am being conned into believing in this project.

[Editor's Note: Is this a cult? And then it just goes on about some local newspaper and about some guy's band or some shit, but you get the idea. No reason to give them even more free advertising then we already have.]
