Captivity Billboards Banned in L.A.

Ok, apparently Los Angeles has been conquered by the Communists. Today these oppressive pansies.. yes, pansies, scored a minor victory today in having the 30 billboards of Elisha Cuthbert’s latest movie, Lionsgate/After Dark Films’ Captivity removed.

After Dark’s CEO Courtney Soloman said “blah blah blah.. Personally, I wasn’t going to go with this campaign. I thought it was over the top.. blah blah blah”(paraphrased). Yea, whatever. Were the billboards even very offensive? Not in the least. Regardless, it shouldn’t even matter.

I’m appalled that After Dark complied to the demands of those protesters. The film itself, is about the completely uncontroversial and wholesome, by my standards, subject of kidnap, torture and murder of a super model. Cuthbert plays the star victim.

It opens on May 18th. Until then you can keep up to date with it on their website CaptivityTheMovie.com, however it won’t be completely open for another nine days.
