300 director Zack Snyder confirmed on Saturday at the SF WonderCon, that the studio indeed wants him to direct WATCHMEN (2008), the long anticipated film adaptation of Alan Moore’s landmark comic book series. Snyder and the studio are working together to find common ground and hope to start shooting by the end of this summer. “But there are a lot of people that don’t want me to make it. An ‘R’ rated superhero movie, What is that? It doesn’t exits.”
