In the town of Raven’s Fair, not everything is quite as it appears. During of a wave of gruesome murders, in which families are found with their tongues removed, a young newlywed, Jamie Ashen, endures the devastating loss of his bride Lisa. Intent on uncovering the truth behind her murder, Jamie delves deep into the bloody past of the sleepy town, coming face to face with the legend of Mary Shaw, a venrtiloquist gone mad executed for the murder of a small boy. After cutting out her tongue, the townsfolk buried her with her collection of dolls, known only to Mary as her “children.” The more Jamie digs, the closer he comes to the truth, and the closer he gets to Mary Shaw.
