It is almost here, the last Dario Argento film in his Mothers Triology, “Mother of Tears.”
The triology started in 1977 with “Suspiria” and was followed by “Inferno” in 1980.

“Mother” opens in Italy sometime in October.
“In the first two installments of the “Witches Trilogy,” Dario Argento told the stories of two “Mothers”: Mater Suspiriorum in Freiburg (SUSPIRIA) and Mater Tenebrarum in New York (INFERNO). In “The Third Mother,” the focus is on another Mother–Mater Lacrimarum–the only survivor of the trio. This witch has been ‘sleeping’ in Rome for centuries and is awakened by Sarah Mandy, a young American student from the Ancient Art Museum.”
