According to the Hollywood Reporter, Nu Image is looking to remake TERROR TRAIN, one of Jamie Lee Crutis’ claims to fame. The original story followed 6 college coeds, including Curtis, celebrating at a New Year’s Eve costume party aboard a train. They are stalked after a prank, played by those 6 individuals years earlier, went horribly wrong.
Gideon Raff (THE KILLING FLOOR) will write and direct the new feature about a group of college athletes who find themselves on a dangerous train in Europe. The project is set to shoot in the summer in Bulgaria with Boaz Davidson (THE WICKER MAN remake), Danny Lerner (OCTOPUS I & II) and Les Weldon (FINDING RIN TIN TIN) producing the picture. So basically a guy with a film that no one has heard of is helming TERROR TRAIN redux while 3 guys with goofy film credits to their names are in charge of producing it. Nu Image was also the production company for the critically panned THE BLACK DAHLIA. Nah. There is no way this could really end up as bad as I think it could. Is there?…
