Aww feel the love?

I think I’ve been working on this list for 3 years. Is that sad or what?

Well, since Molly did the “Top Ten Nastiest Films Ever Made”, I decided it’s time to spread a little love here at Horror Yearbook with:

WIL’s “Top Ten Touching Horror Movie Moments”: Just in time for Valentine’s Day!

Warning: May Contain Spoilers.

1. Return of the Living Dead (1985): Wedding ring cremation.

When Frank realizes he is going to turn into a zombie, he makes the ultimate sacrifice to
cremate himself…but not before kissing his wedding ring and leaving it on the side of
the crematorium.

2. The Prowler (1980): Retard saves the day.

I can’t remember the characters names, but the big retarded, red herring guy saves the
girl at the end, adding a touching scene with touching music to accompany it.

3. Prom Night (1980): Brother/Sister Love.

Prom Night gives us another touching ending when Kim Hammond realizes her brother Alex is
the killer.

4. Godzilla (1954): Scientist sacrifice.

Serizawa plants the Oxygen Destroyer to kill Godzilla, then cuts his own cord and dies.

5. My Boyfriends Back (1993): Another prom, another touching death.

Johnny falls to pieces after he gets his dance with Missy McCloud at the prom.

6. Alien: Resurrection (1997): Motherly love.

Ripley sets up, then watches her alien/human hybrid be sucked into space.

Lots of love on prom night

7. Monster Squad (1987): A little girls love.

Frankenstein gets sucked into black hole.

8. Oversexed Rugsuckers From Mars (1989): Vacuum Cleaner love.

Bum is reunited with “Dusty”, his gay vacuum cleaner lover.

BONUS: Lady gives birth to a human/dust buster baby in court.

9. The Video Dead (1987): Last goodbye.

I think Jeff was his name and Zoe was hers, but I could be wrong. Jeff whispers Zoe’s
name right before he dies.

10. The Blob (1988): It worked for Crash, why not The Blob?

Explosion induced natural snow fall ending.

The End

Johnny Truant’s Favorite Touching Moment:

Day of the Dead “Dr. Logan being shot down by Capt. Rhodes men in Day of the Dead while a distraught Bub looks on in anguish.”
